My jewellery is created using the lost-wax casting technique, where each piece is first shaped by hand in wax before being cast in metal. It is a slow, thoughtful process in which I melt, shape and sculpt the wax. The possibilities are endless.

There is something deeply meditative about the entire process, and I love it. Every little detail of the jewellery is given the time it needs to take shape, step by step.

Once the wax model is finished, it is sent to a professional precious metal foundry, where the piece is cast for me in silver. I mainly work with recycled sterling silver.

When the jewellery returns from the foundry, the work continues in my studio - there is still a lot left to do. I saw, sand and polish each piece. It is a time-consuming process, but also one of the most enjoyable parts. Watching a piece of jewellery that I first created in wax slowly transform into a finished silver piece is incredibly rewarding.

For most of my designs, I also set stones that I have carefully selected to complement each individual piece.
